Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    OK
I have got the go ahead to post this.
Need 10 buyers to make it work.
It will also be a maximum of 10 as some products are limited so it is first come first served.

Please post your name if interested and each member after that copy and paste the list while adding their name.

    Wheel Wollies @ €49.95

Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel @ €17.95
    &
    Glitz @ €13.95

all of this plus shipping = €89.80

Take 20% off and add delivery and its just over €73.43.

Over €15 euro saved, that is basically getting the Glitz free

after this you can then choose to add whatever else you need at regular price be it sealant for the wheels or whatever.

PM me the reduction code as I'll probably order some other goodies at the same timeffect.

Edit - I'll be using Parcel Motel for delivery if that suits.

I use all 3 of these on a regular basis and I get the Auto Wheel in 3's every so often from Detailing Shed and I can tell ye, this won't be the last time you'll be buying them!

Stick me down for this too. Quick question(s): Has anyone used Glitz and Meguiars Endurance? How do they compare?
And can Glitz be used on plastic trim too?

Glitz will probably look a little less shiny than Meg's Endurance Gel. However with proper preparation, it will last longer. Also, it will produce far less sling of the product, from the tyres onto the bodywork. Yes, it can be used on plastics and trim, but there are far better products out there for this. Such as gtechniq C4 and CarPro DLUX (which doubles as a wheel sealant) or to a less extent, CarPro PERL.

^^ Right there is why I threw away a bottle of Megs Tyre gel
It drove me nuts with all the mess it made with the amount of sling.

Once the number hits 10 it will go ahead
Possibly could run another at a later date if this works.

    Order received! That was quick.

Pity it's in Dublin while I'm in Hungary. Oh well, after a week in the airport car park the car will need a little TLC when I get back.

My stuff just arrived :) happy days!! Thanks to all involved.

Is fallout remover the same as wheel cleaner yea?

    H

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,377 ✭✭✭Curran

The fallout remover will give a deeper clean than a regular wheel cleaner. Give the wheels a light wash. Let th drip dry gor a few mins and then spray the Korrosol on, and let dwell for 5 mins and rinse off. Repeat if necessary.
Recommended to do the wheels every 3 months or so with it, if cleaning the wheels regularly with wheel cleaner, to keep them in tip top shape.

Just ordered there. Also ordered a Dry me Crazy towel.

Looking forward to getting them. I won't be able to try them for a few weeks mind...... It's the joys of working in Longford (and a third floor apartment) and the rest of my cleaning stuff is in my place in Cork. Ah well.....

Very strange - never heard of that happening before - I'll try edit it, but either way, I will make sure it gets sent to the correct delivery address! ;)

Yep it really is and never ever thought I'd day that about a towel :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,377 ✭✭✭Curran

I can be hard to convince people to buy quality microfibers...most people think a towel is a towel.
A good drying towel makes it such an easy task, and the same goes for having the right buffing cloth for removing wax or sealants, etc.
Cheap ones are grand for doing the work-horse type jobs, for interiors, door jambs, etc, but a quality microfiber if cared for correctly will last and do a way better job!

Agree - When you 1st advised me to buy Drive me Crazy Towel and the blue crazy mf to buff off wax, i was like WHAT!! :)

So I'm thinking this weekend, after we've all used our clean wheels pack, there has to be some photos put up?

    I'm up for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,377 ✭✭✭Curran

    Before, during and after!!!

Wanna see lots of purple wheels from the Korrosol and then sparkling wheels and dark, treated tyres! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,755 ✭✭✭ianobrien

The only cleaning I'll be doing is the local garage that has ramps for cleaning the undercarriage (its next to the NCT Centre). I'll be using that to power wash the undercarriage, sills, wheel wells etc from all the salt that has been spread recently. No soap or brush, just lots of water.

Just realised I had it delivered to the office. While I'm now back in Ireland my wheel woolies are under lock and key in the office until Monday.

    Not happy

Anyone use their new products at the weekend?

    I didn't get a chance over the weekend! :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 996 ✭✭✭bbari

It started snowing while I was in the middle of washing the car :(
I'm away next weekend therefore I'll be doing it the following weekend. I'll be keeping an eye on Boards to see your hardwork :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 971 ✭✭✭Senecio

I only picked mine up from the office security desk this morning. Fingers crossed for good weather this weekend so I can give the car a good going over.
