Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Black & Decker Orbital Sander

Does anyone else have one of these?

I'm using it to strip off paint from woodwork. Its a powerful enough yoke (especially for the price) but it is so powerful that it quickly defeats the loops on the velcro fastening of the sanding disc. The disc flies off and will not re attach.

    Anyone any ideas?

Orbital sanders are best for finishing work and polishing, for heavy paint a belt sander is best, for delicate and intricate work, nitromors and scraper and wire brush.
