Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it's been well over a year since i watched RTE. I generally don't watch TV, but on the rare occasions I do, I don't watch RTE. But i still have a TV. It's used for my xbox.

I think the only RTE service i use is the website. But that's only when i click on a link to it.

yet i still have to pay a TV licence.

Honestly i wouldn't mind if they weren't so ****e. I honestly can't see how pat kenny is worth 700k a year. If they sacked him they have to be able to find someone (they don't even have to be irish) who'd do a better job for less money. It's just a big clique where it's a case of jobs for the boys.

Home and away is the best of them soaps simply because it's got Alf Stewart in it.

The TV licence will be stuck onto the household charge in a year or 2. That'll be a big boost for RTE. Another reason they go easy on whatever political party is in power, they don't want them to cut the licence fee.

And your prove of that is where???, Also the Licence fee has constantly gone up regardless of political party within power, I know the TV Licence is a tax on everyone in Ireland, and has being for years, (and as far as I'm concerned rightfully so) but to make a statment that it will stuck ontothe household (house owning tax) in 2 years is just bizarre

Classic example of why RTE have a defecit of €16m , look at the olympic coverage, why do we need a panel of 4 for the boxing and a panel of 4 for the athlethics?

7 people in studio all getting a nice wedge when 3 or at most 5 would be more than plenty.

This is exactly what happens when you are allowed to spend money that isnt yours and that you clearly dont have to account for.
