Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any nice foreign beer in lidl for a reasonable price, does anyone know?

Some nice, dutch, german or belgium beer would be good.

    Please no one say Excelssior!

It's only €1.34 in Lidl, but €2.40 in Tesco.

    I love wheat beers.

Whats wrong with Tuborg. Its not germen granted but dutch.

    24 no 500ml cans for 20 euro.

Although if andrew montigue has his way we will all be spending a euro a can or bottle min.

Franzikaner, Hoegaarden and Leffe are all good and a common enough sight.

Try Danish for Tuborg, not Dutch ;)

It depends on what you want. Leffe is a very good mass-produced Belgian wheat bear (roughly 6.6% if I remember rightly?).

Personally, Shepherd Neame beer from Lidl (e.g. Bishop's Finger, Spitfire, etc.) = win, but there you go.

Anybody ever had bottles of Steinhauser beer from Aldi?

It's something like €4.30 for 6 bottles so I always end up buying it,but myself and a few of my mates think that it tastes a bit like metal.
