Can anybody recommend someplace to have my hair & makeup done before an upcoming wedding in Cork City?

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

Hmmm. Looks like I'll be doing my own. :-(

    Where abouts it the wedding...

I can recommend a mobile hairdresser that is about it. Just had my own wedding and found it pretty hard to get a makeup artist and hair lady to do all.. Ended up getting hair that was it...

I saw in Boots on Paul street they do makeup and hair in there but the staff aren't exactly friendly

I got my make-up done in Boots Half Moon and the girl was really nice. For hair I'd recommend Picasso if you are going for a blowdry.

Jes anytime I go in there, even called in the week of my wedding to ask about the No. 7 and the girls on that counter are very evil.. Unless you have piles of makeup on they wont come near you.

If you want both done in the same place try Citywax in Blackrock.
