Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi would use it along the St. Mullins scenic pathway in Carlow.

Not like my husband who lost his pounding the pavements in Kilkenny, not long after Christmas. An expensive item with a bracelet liable to come loose, a hard lesson learned..

Around the Burren, as the competition is over the 4th of August and allowing for picking a winner and postage, I'll wear it while walking with my 2 year old, my wife and hopefully our newborn baby (due end of August)

If it's wishful thinking, I would love a run along the north coast, in the Giant's Causeway area.
But, if I had a Fitbit, I'd wear it on my daily run around the housing estate.

If you could go for a run anywhere in Ireland with your Fitbit, where would it be?

The Hill of Tara is a fantastic place to run and great way to get strength into the legs with a few hills too!

If you could go for a run anywhere in Ireland with your Fitbit, where would it be?
Would it be over rolling hills, bog roads or beside the sea?
It's a beautiful island you need see to believe,
But I'd probably run down the backroad and be home for tea!

I used to run Castletown in Celbridge, but didnt really have map tracking or step counting back in the day - so would be interesting to see how far i was running and how well (although i dont run as fast as i used to).

I'd love to run sections of the Wild Atlantic Way over the course of a (good few) days as well :)

Along the trailways of the Cooley mountains - ravensdale from the lumpers is a favourite - it's a dirt road with steep rises very challenging but also doable with grit and determination..... Haven't been up there in a while but would have a good reason to head up again to check out my new Fitbit!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,151 ✭✭✭Danye

I'd go for a big long run....as far away from my girlfriend as possible.

I hope there's no tracking device on those Fitbits!

We have no trains in Donegal -
That's gospel truth - not one at all -
But where the railway lines once ran,
Keen walkers go whene'er they can.
    Weaving through the country fair,
They breathe in deep it's crisp clear air,
Improving their fitness as they go -
You'd see it in their healthy glow!
I talk of joining them ofttimes,
But make excuses - and poor rhymes -
However, a Fitbit to call mine
Might make me finally "Walk the Line".
