With the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Championship now entering the quarter final stages it's fair to say the excitement is growing. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely check out the story of Cork GAA's Minor hurler Shane Kingston - it's spine-tingling stuff!

Given a decent set of legs and a Forrest Gump amount of time I would keep it local and electrical and just keep running.

I'd start off at Dublin Bay and head inland towards the picturesque Turlough Hill. From there I would head off to the leafy Liffey with a tea break at Poulaphouca. Then it would be on to my final stop, the Poolbeg towers with a much needed dip at the Half Moon swimming club.

I'll be honest here, I've never run anywhere. I've always been unfit & overweight, but this year I decided to get my act together & start walking. I've kids I want to be able to see grow older.

I try to get out to walk when I can and have just cracked 3k without being too much out of breath.. Next milestone is 5k and I'd love something like this to incentivise myself & be able to keep track of it. I've seen the weight start to come off but this would push me further.

When I can walk 5k without being out of breath, then I'll try to run .5k.

I would love to take it for a run the length of the beach in Enniscrone in Co Sligo

It is a lifelong ambition for me to run the length and back of that beautiful 3 mile stretch of sand but I was never fit enough to do it in my youth

it would be interesting to see the results with a Fitbit

Killarney National Park is the perfect running environment. No cars, amazing scenery, and the odd horse drawn cart just add to the wonderful atmosphere

It would have to be the Cliff Walk from Bray to Greystones. Highly recommend it for anyone who's never been.

Would love a Fitbit as I have a Windows Phone and it's one of the few smart watches that is actually compatible with WP!
