Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nah I mean the containers broken so when I fill it - it leaks. Thus I have no squirty ness to clean my screen.
I'll get a bottle of water tho, and do dangerous throwing on the windscreen if it stops raining lol.
Should be about 2 &half hours, its 30-40mins from Ballinasloe

Sorry to hear that mate. My friends dog was mauled by a vicious dog a few years ago, covered in blood too. The thing that was crazy about it all was this vicious dog was not fit to be kept as a pet, we knew that as soon as that dog got away from its' owners clutches that it would do some real damage. And that's exactly what happened.

God Nerin that's awful, it really is. I hope he's ok. Fights and injuries from them usually look worse than they really are so hopefully this is one of those cases.

I can't bear the thought of anything happening to any of my dogs.

Goddamnit. My sister decided to invite 10 of her friends over, the house is already a mess and they're only making it worse. They're noisy as hell and if anything goes wrong it'll be blamed on me.

I wonder how much it is for a sisterectomy...

Hi all, I just had a thought. We all know that The Lair is for fun chat so I came up with a thread where you can be moody without the guilty feeling of being a come down.:pac: Rant or vent about anything you want. Stressful times at home, work or college. Let go about how your mates suck and don't understand you. Or just feel free to air some bad feeling (but don't be confrontational). I'll get the ball rolling with a somewhat lighthearted rant.

The state of the horror genre in movies. It sickens me! I mean when is the last time you saw a good film with Vampires eh? No offence to all you fans of the Underworld franchise but it is in all honesty a case of style over substance. In fairness though, I'd take that franchise anyday over films about teenage vampires with angst (cough*Twilight*cough). Oh and Dakota Fanning is in the sequel. Yes! And now we're being treated to Gavin & Stacey having their way with the genre. It's a sad sad state of affairs.

And when's the last time you saw a classic horror movie that you could call not just a great horror movie, but just a great movie in general. Back in the day we'd see acting greats such as Jack Nicholson in awesome films such as The Shining. Or Arnie in The Terminator. Now what do we get? A bunch a B movie films with a bunch of forgettable eye candy. I despair.

Rant over. Don't leave me hanging people.:pac:

Did you make this post after i was around in your house saying how all these new horror films arent scary just eye candy ! and back in the day you were in nappies :D

damn right, I was semi ticked off about otherstuff before this 'accident' but this has just rightly pssed me the frak off.... I'm a nice person, I was really kind to this girl who was visibly upset at the fact she'd hit me, I did my best to calm her down and not to worry it'd get sorted.
For her DADDY to get me to try and let it slide? Then when I go 'eh no... heres my estimate' he turns all nasty n 'well you admitted liability'
me going WTF 'what are you talking about'
    him 'you admitted liability'
    me 'no i didnt?'
him 'thats not what my daughter says' (smirky tone).

Poor Grames, I once considered doing security at gigs, but I'm glad I turned down the chance if this is the amount of stress that a Take That gig causes. Imagine what a Slipknot or Slayer gig would be like.:pac:

cartain accidents it may not be obvious ya kno? and a 2 on 1 situation could turn into a mess even though SP is 100% in the right...ive seen it happen when i was workin in axa plenty of times.....claims being dragged out for yonks!!

SP your best bet is to go over the fathers head........talk specifically to the daughter if possible, if the dad was not involved at al politely inform him he has no legal say. (unless shesa minor....please say shes not)

actually, was talking to the owner of a bar that does a lot of decent gigs there lately, one of the dudes i was with works as a bouncer and he was asking if the dude employed any security. apparently he never employs security specifically for metal or punk gigs, as the peeps tend to police/look after each other.

Really? I would have thought that in the event that something like a mosh pit gets out of control and people are being trampled on then security would be needed. Then again I am talking as a novice.:o
