Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i am 60 years old and it only in the last year and a bit I have been using digital hearing aids. In under a year after purchasing them they both failed and had to be sent for repairs. I just dont trust them in the same way I did with analogue ones I had up till then. I also understand from someone that there very little difference between analogue and digital but I not impressed. not gone on all this programming either. I live in County Meath

If your Hearing aid has broken down a few times, it probably has more to do with the type of fitting rather than it being digital. Would I be right to suggest that your old type had a thick tube going into an earmold, and the new instrument has a thin tube or wire going to into your ear?
There might be a simpler solution to your problem.

We often get inquiries about analogue hearing aids. These inquiries usually come from people who had analogue instruments in the past and are not happy, or can not adapt to the sound of their new digital instruments.
In these cases, in the hands of an experienced technician, advanced digital instrument can me made to mimic the effect of the older instrument and acclimatize the user over several months to the new technology.

Oh, and by the way, we do supply analog instruments if they are needed, and they are Irish made.
