Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a 9 fin 2kw heater, I haven used it in a while bought it during the cold snap a couple of years ago, it's nippy today and I decided to pull it out to save from lighting the fire at 4 o clock, are these efficient, it goes on and every every few minutes, would only be using it for an hour or so to heat the living room.

    2kw x €0.18 per kwh = €0.36 per hour to run.

Okay that's not too bad, I was expecting it to be more, thanks.

It doesn't sound a lot but if you compare gas & oil with it, for every kwh of electricity costing 18 cent, oil will cost 8.3 cent for the same kwh & natural gas only costing 6.6 cent.
