Some rules - Need clarifying

    OK this is the first one.

    Heads up in the local pub. Small blind goes all in. Big blind folds and turns over one of his cards to show. Then big blind throws his cards on top of the other card and turns all 3 over - in order to see the other card and to see if a bluff was there.

    What's the punishment for the player who touched the other persons cards?

    The second one - This is probably common sense.

    Can a dealer take chips from any player in order to give change to another? I mean a dealer that is meant to be there not a player/dealer. Do they have to agree with the player they are taking change from?

    If a player shows 1 card the other player can request to see the other. It is bad etiquette to show one card. Obviously it is also bad etiquette to touch cards even dead cards but there is no real punishment other than a warning from the dealer.

    Showing 1 card as a teaser is really bad taste imo and I either show my bluff or not.

    What kind of punishment? Unless the dealer carries a whip there's not really a whole lot you can do unless it's a serious or repeated enough offense to disqualify them.

    Poker is all about knowing not only the black and white rules but also the spirit of the game and the etiquette and manners that go along with it. If someone doesn't follow these then they'll quickly run out of people to play with.

    In a tournament, the dealer can make change from anyones stack... I mean a casino dealer now, not a player/dealer.
    In cash games no-one can touch any-ones chips, inc dealers.

    The first incident is a little un-clear, but I think I got it. Basically this man is a serious idiot. What is he doing here?
    Someone needs to have a word with him, and if that behavior continues then just bar him/her from the game.
