Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Beer as a sports drink!

I see they only went as far as 4.8% ABV. I'm going to have to address the gap in the research by downing some Chimay blue, aren't I. Will report back tomorrow.

Conclusion: A low alcohol beer with added sodium offers a potential compromise between a beverage with high social acceptance and one which avoids the exacerbated fluid losses observed when consuming full strength beer.

Ummm.... Don't think I'll be drinking watered down, salty tasting beer to gain social acceptance any time soon. Full strength beer FTW

Nah, just drink a beer that is about 4-4.5% and had a bag of salted peanuts with it, same difference :pac:

That sounds far more palatable and if its scientifically proven then who am I to argue?

Have you guys in here seen this? She tweeted “I knocked a cyclist off his bike. I have right of way, he doesn’t even pay road tax”; but fair play to the Norwich Police who were straight on the case :)

On a seperate note, my mother in law copped me without my helmet on today, sent a message home with my daughter to say she'd murder me the next time she saw me as it was no way for a Dad to behave, my wife cannot look after 3 children (ie I would have a serious accident leaving me in a child like state).

I have decided that I won't actually talk to her until this rant blows over.

My Ribble order has been "awaiting picking" for over 5 days now...it was listed as out of stock a few days after I selected it.

I've used Ribble plenty over the years and this is the first issue I've had, if something is out of stock, I'd just like an estimate of when it will be back.

Customer service is beyond useless with them. I emailed about the matter and got back a "It can take 15 days to deliver, we normally try to make it 10" which obviously answered nothing.
