Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

the usb doesn't support usb sticks etc.. i think it maybe only used for updating the player.

Update to the latest firmware enables it to read files from a usb.

    aaarrrraagggghhhh

I paid 125 for the same one in Argus on Sunday :mad::mad:

Nice player you need to go to the Philips website to get a firmware upgrade for avi divx etc. Apparently all you need to do is copy the file to the usb key and launch it. Havnt got a chance to do mine yet.

Just bring it back within 30 days for refund, no reason necessary for Argos

I can't see an optical out on that picture. Does it have one anywhere?

No, it doesn't have one. :o

The usb is for firmware updates, and more important, for the bd live.
You need a memory stick of at least 1 Gb.

As for optical output, I believe only have coaxial digital, no optical.
It can be converted into region free dvd (no blueray) pretty easy.

Just bought one of these ( Display Model) in Harvey Norman Naas for €59 Euro. They had a couple left advertised at €69 but are open to negotiation.

    Hi,
Is it the blu-ray player they have for €69?? I looked online and can only see the 'upscaling' model for €69 and the blu-ray one at €99:confused:

yes it was the Blueray model and it is advertised as being reduced from €99 Euro down to €69 Euro. I went in at lunchtime to get another but they are sold out in Naas and will not be restocking as the model has been replaced by a 3D version.
