I was on a monthly rolling contract of €35 a month with tesco.
I just saw they are now doing the same deal for €25 a month.
I rang them and they changed me over with effect from my next bill.

Also for the last few I've been using the credit on my account (from my points being converted into credit) to turn every €5 into €15 of my mobile bill, through Clubcard "Boost" partners..

Hi, I was always on a rolling monthly contract, never a 12 month contract.

They said something to me previously. They eventually gave me the better terms when I agreed to a new 12 month contract on the new terms.

    So maybe make that suggestion?

Does anyone know what their phone reception is like? And also is there any option to purchase a phone? And is it plus VAT?

Who in their right mind would expect a crappy alcatel phone and tablet to last for the life of the contract? You would be lucky if either is still working after a few months.

    1. They use 02 Network
    2. It can be on a 30 day contract
    3. It's €25 pm.

Assume Tesco Mobile now also use the Three network as O2 Ireland was bought over by Three

I'd say it'll be 3 using the 02 network. Don't know when it'll all be finalised and up and running.

    No, they don't.

They use the o2 network. The networks merge is up to 18 months away.

That is a terrible deal for 20€ a month for 24 months.

    300 mins,300 texts and only 500mb data?

That's so obvious no one else felt the need to say it.

And pay as you go is cheaper for the same amount of text, data and calls?

Though in fairness, TM have some of the lowest international call rates on the market, from 1c a minute to landlines in lots of countries.

Roaming Data is very expensive with TM, but you are always better off buying a local sim when travelling abroad anyway.
And pay as you go is cheaper for the same amount of text, data and calls?

Actually it would cost you €40 to get the same with pay as you go (unlimited calls, texts and 15GB data):

    - Unlimited Text Bundle €10
    - 5GB data Bundle €10 x 3 = €40

Of course, not everyone one needs 15GB (myself included I'm very happy with 1GB for €15 per month) but it is a good deal for people who use a lot more data.

It's not for some actually. Someone asked what you get in the deal, so where's the harm in letting them know what's not included. Thanks for your pointless contribution.
