Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the people that think a 4x4 will go anywhere in the snow/ice think again.

With a 4x4, tyres are critical... An average 4x4 on proper snow tyres will out perform a better machine on road tyres every day. Next comes driver ability, and of course the choice of vehicle.. in that clip, the pajero is a very capable machine, but that hill looked too much for all bar studded tyres..

It also proves the other point that most people forget about when driving on ice/snow. Stopping is more important the starting and even with chains/stubs you can still slide out of control.
