Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks:

I hope you can help... Someone very dear to me has thankfully just come out the far side of breast cancer treatment & recovery. She is having difficulty in sourcing good quality (& especially good-looking) post-mastectomy bras. (Matching knickers would be a plus. :))

If anyone can let me know of somewhere that deals in the above, I'd really appreciate it. Anywhere from Dublin to Waterford to a Cork would be great.

    Ta,

    tHB

Just browsing and saw this, a quick google brings up this place - http://www.everywoman.ie/products-lingerie.html (Murray Medical on Talbot Street)

Thanks, January! I know she's tried a couple of places - including online shops. Not sure which, but I'll add this to the list.

I think that she's been quite disappointed by the range of styles & colours available of what she has seen so far. She probably wants to feel as good as possible in her smalls as she did before.

Feedback from other sources in case anyone is interested...
Brown Thomas have a good selection apparently & provide consultations by appointment. I think that these are free.
    Www.figleaves.com was also recommended.

The Breast Cancer Forum on the Irish Cancer Society's website is a great place for info - plenty of daily activity on that particular forum.

The nurses on the Society's confidential FREEFONE Helpline 1800 200 700 (9-7 Mon-Thurs, 9-5 on Fri) should be able to provide info on shops and suppliers.

The National Cancer Conference is on in the Aviva Stadium on Fri 19th and Sat 20th Sept. There are always suppliers and reps there with the products your friend is looking for. Even if she's not going to the conference, she can, if she's in Dublin, just come along and talk to the reps.

Definitely worth her while calling the Helpline....they'll definitely steer her in the right directions.
