Tried an option forund here but no joy.

I have a table like this
    FBTWO-307
    FBTWO-309
    FBTWO-31
    FBTWO-310
    FBTWO-32
    FBTWO-325
    FBTWO-328
    FBTWO-33
    FBTWO-337
    FBTWO-338
    FBTWO-34
    FBTWO-345
    FBTWO-346
    FBTWO-36

as you can see it's not correct for a human but is "correct" for excel.
How do I sort it so it appear is correct numerological order even though there are letter in the field too?
And no, I can't add initial zeroes :)

I'd copy it into the column next to it, do a text to columns split at the dash, delete the FBTWO column
That gives you a column adjacent to this one but with only numbers in it. Then you can sort the two remaining columns by the numbers in your remaining new column.

You can sort A-Z if the text prefix is the same all the time.

Thanks, I ended up stripping away the "FBTWO-", then sorting table before injecting it again.
    All good :)
