Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renault C4 seized brake disc

    I went about fitting new discs and pads on my wife's 07 Clio. No problem with the fronts or offside rear but i cannot get the disc off the near side rear Seems To be seized solid. Tried a lot of hammering but no joy. Any help would be appreciated as nct due in 2 weeks.

    If you have a decent sized bolt, two washers and a nut:


    Have used it in the past to good effect.

    A good squirt of freeing oil around it and bate the sh!te out of it doesnt matter if it breaks.

    I eventually borrowed a heavy duty pullers and and after two good smacks with a lump hammer on the disc with the pullers as tight as I could get it--Off it popped. Happy now.
