windows 7 wont update without a restore

    hi lenovo g580 2689, 3 years old, came with windows 7, home, it was updated to windows 8.1,2 years ago, wifi driver didnt work, hard disk failed last week without warning, bought 120gb ssd kingston, installed fresh copy of windows 7,installed all drivers, wifi back working,missing graphics card drivers, 3 types listed don't know which one is correct, all is good until windows updates 57 items, then it crashes and restores, to before update, here is data faults, anyone know problem? any help much appreciated , cheers

    In my own experience, issues with Windows 7 updates are usually caused by either a third party antivirus or firewall. Try disabling any antivirus you might have installed, and run Windows Update again
