Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,
I have an entry in the 1901 census for an "E Mail Messenger". Have you any idea what this would entail?
I'm happy that the transcription from the census record is correct - see the last line...

    Many thanks in advance,

My guess is that he was a telegram delivery boy. Google on "electric mail" and you find that the telegraph system was sometimes referred to as electric mail.

Or someone who worked for an ISP went back in time on purpose to self-insert on the census. :D
