    They are there to inspect his work so its not surprising that they ask him to attend. Are you concerned that he will think you reported his work? He would be obliged to correct any issues anyway so he would have to come back anyway

    Its not surprising to be honest. Alot of registered contractors arent even aware of the required spec for the grants. Ive come across a couple of solar jobs which werent sized sufficiently. I've also come across a builder who only installed 100mm attic insulation (300mm is required) and when he was confronted, just refused to correct the work. You would imagine most of them would be weeded out by now

    Hopefully youll get the job done correctly now.
