Summer 2011: shows to look out for!

    Starting this week the regular network shows end :(
    As we approach the end of May it'll be like the Sahara for tv watchers....but, fear not! ;)

    US cable is cracking during the Summer with returning shows and new ones to look out for! :)

    USA Network is stuffed full shows returning such as White Collar; Royal Pains; Covert Affairs etc.
    Burn Notice returns for season 5 Thursday June 23rd
    Royal Pains third season kicks off Wednesday June 29th
    Season 2 of Covert Affairs + season 3 of White Collar return Tuesday June 7th
    Psyche returns in July or August
    New show Suits kicks off Thursday June 23rd while new show Nesscary Roughness starts June 29th.


    A major Summer show launches in June with TNT's Sci-Fi show Falling Skies(Sunday June 19th), FX has several shows returning, ABC has a couple of scripted shows with Rookie Blue and The Hot Zone (Tuesday June 21st)

    ABC Family has tons of new shows launching and expands it's schedule Monday through Wednesday.

    New shows The Nine Lives Of Chloe King(Monday June 14th); Switched At Birth(Monday June 6th) get paired with returning shows Pretty Little Liars and Secret Life Of The American Teenager

    In August much buzzed The Lying Game(Monday August 15th) kicks off along with Jane By Design. Wednesday comedy block kicks off with returning Melissa & Joey + new States Of Georgia(Wednesday June 29th)

    Thanks for that, didn't realise Louie was coming back in the summer.

    Was looking forward to Penn and Teller Bull**** but it's over now. :( Other than Louis I'll be watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and Breaking bad, not interested in any of the rest of it.

    Leverage and Futurama are both back at the end of June.

    Although I could take or leave Futurama these days, the last series was awful imo.

    100% its so much better then the UK version, I actually think its the best reality tv show mainly due to all the scheming. Season 4, the one that was showed on E4 one summer, remains the best one for me

    Damages Season 4 will be premiering sometime in July on DIRECTV(Formally on FX network). No official date announced yet.

    Really looking forward to Falling Skies, Torchwood, Alphas and Franklin and Bash from that list. Already seen Outcasts and the rest (especially ABC Family :rolleyes:) are on my NOT TO WATCH list.
