Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know if they usually offer a YouTube link to it? Or will the I/O site have an embedded video? Was hoping to watch via the Chromecast. I can still mirror on the ATV but the Chromecast would be the better option.

Find out about the latest product and platform innovations at Google.

Latest product innovations? Does this more or less confirm we're getting some new hardware?

Fwiw, Chromecast streams direct to the Chromecast from the web once you send it from nexus.

Yeah, that's what I meant sorry, that the N5 was the remote that sent the stream request :o

I/O is at heart a Developer conference, just like the WWDC. They did announce two new Smartwatchs though.

I'll admit I expected the HTC tablet to be announced as it is a Nexus one, but ah well.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 5,575 ✭✭✭AlanS181824

    Well that's it!

    No new Nexus tablets.

They announced Android Auto, Android TV and of course Android Wear to name a few.

What are you most excited about?

I'm not really sure what I think of the new design to be honest.

At one stage one of the presenters' tablet was running Android Jelly Bean!

Anyone see the random girl in the middle making faces or the guy saying something about robots killing people near the end?

    Great event Google! :)

TV and mainly car. I would definitely be looking for the car stereo thingy. Watches not so much. Already have a Chromecast so not too pushed on TV. Where's my new tablet? And it's looking like the one plus one for me if they get their act together.
