Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I'm an artist & illustrator, working on a series of pictures showing the history of costume in Ireland, starting c. 8000 BC & eventually going up to the present day. I'll be at this for a while.
    I've been reading up on various archaeological evidence for about a year now, and I'm almost ready to start actually drawing.

    I'd love to just chat to an archaeologist with reasonable knowledge of the mesolithic & neolithic period in Ireland, mainly to compare notes & get a few links to research that I might be overlooking as I don't have any formal archaeological education.
