Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've flicked over to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang now, I have the Godfather on DVD.

remember seeing that a few years ago. man thats 1 crazy movie.

People say The Godfather and Citizen Kane are amazing because THEY ARE AMAZING! Fair enough if personal taste means you disagree...but you know just because somebody prefers Dan Brown to William Faulkner, it doesn't mean that one is not actually a better work of art.

In some ways I don't regret going out last night due to the chinese and the hour long walk home drinking bottles with the lads, but then there's the feeling like somethings stuck in my left eye, checking and there's nothing but bloodshot around a lump under my bottom eyelid and I wonder was it worth it....may need to head to a doctor :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭Otis Driftwood

Well if its any consolation Im in a fnuckin hape.Went to my local last night then ended up at a random 21st/house party.Dont remember leaving it,dont know how the hell I got home,Im just waiting for someone to text me to say "the state of you last night"

    Oh well.

Well apart from that had a great night in town just a poor ending to it this morning with a big dirty head on me that, thus far, Neurofen is taking it's sweet ass time to get rid of...then there's the eye...it hurts to blink so there's no ignoring it!

I was way too tired to go out last night. One of the lads in cycling club was let off the leash for the first time in a long time, Friday. I wanted to go early as I was working early Saturday but took pity. I wanted to head out last night but ended up ringing Dominos and watching the football.

As difficult as it is,try rinsing it with warm water, generally does the trick.

Tried the aul water trick but last night there was a lump on my eyeball and I don't think it's something water can fix, it's like a cut or belt - time'll heal it

until then I should probably stop with the self pity!!

    You still in a hape?

Not feeling too great either after lastnight, need to stop drinking Heineken, leaves the stomach in some state. To cure said state I decided to have a dirty Macdonalds and watch the Kerry/Mayo game.

Both the food and the match so far can be described as septic.

I'm going to go out for one or two later, there's a historic pub in KK that reopened recently and I keep meaning to throw my head in the door to see what it's like. Will head down latish and only have the one or two as working in the morning.
