Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hit the gym or go for a run. Any exercise at all that you can get, it will put you in good form.

All I will say is don't spend it in the pub/drinking. It will ruin any benefit you'll get from the run, i'm not telling you anything you don't know i'm sure.
Enjoy yourself anyway whatever you're at.

Set yourself the challenge of watching a full season boxset: 20 + episodes of approx 40 mins.

You can only leave the couch to change discs.

    Yes ;)

Can't imagine it to be much fun to be honest.

I have often went to pubs on my own but at least there you can interact with others and get into conversation. No chance of that in the cinema.

I do but if I wanted to watch one on my own I would just watch a DVD.

Tbf, if people start having conversations and interacting with each other during a cinematic presentation I tell them to shut up. Loudly. :D

    Odd.
I think cinemas are for experiencing a movie in (depending on the cinema) it's best form, not for socialising/conversation.

Either way, don't go to the cinema.

You seem to like fitness, so... Twelve hours on a treadmill?

Come out to CA and hang out with me.. Because I've decided it's not much fun, swimming in the pool and getting wasted by myself all day.. lol.. And I have a hard month of this to look forward to..

Eeew, socialise? with "strangers"? no thanks...

Go to the cinema alone is no different than watching a movie at home by yourself.

get up early clean the place do all the annoying things youve meant to do for a while then buy a load of junk food and watch movies and stuff

Just to differentiate here, I personally don't see nothing wrong with socialising with strangers (esp when travelling) but I draw the line at having a grand aul yap with the person beside you in the cinema... :D

Last time someone tried to engage me in a conversation at the pictures was at Walt Disney's "The Black Hole"... I'm still livid :D;)

I do think there is a difference between watching a DVD in the comfort of your own home and going to the cinema alone.

I generally I have no problem doing things on my own but I would draw the line at going to the cinema. I just think it looks quite sad and I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it.

nothing sad about it, very enjoyable
