    Taking my car for a nct ,was told tyres have to have a E mark on them,one of my doesn't it has good tread is this a fail?

    Yup, it will fail if it doesnt have the E mark no matter how good the tread is on it.

    Check the inside of them too, sometimes it's only written on one side.

    Just realised the tyre has good tread because it was only fitted jan2010,i still have the receipt,should i have been sold me a tyre with no Emark?
