Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    3. Multiply by 80
    4. Add 1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,721 ✭✭✭StupidLikeAFox

**** calculators, pcs and macs, copy and paste this into Google-
    (((((abc*80)+1)*250)+defg)+defg)-250)/2

    but replace a with1st digit,
    b with 2nd digit
    etc etc

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 110 ✭✭30H!3

I've a better version of that trick

Key in your phone number to a calculator.

    Add 1 to it.

    Subtract 1 from it.

:eek::eek:WOW  How does that work ??:confused::confused::confused:

    1. Grab a calculator

Gotb these two parts right. Now I have two calculators. Next...

    1. Grab a calculator

    3. Multiply by 80
    4. Add 1
    5. Multiply by 250

    7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again
    8. Subtract 250
    9. Divide number by 2

So basically, this calculated my 7 digit phone number! And all I inputted was the first 3 digits of my phone number, followed by the last 4 digits!

I found a faster way though:
    1. Grab a calculator
    2. Type your mobile number into it

All you're doing is multiplying your first 3 digits by 10,000 and adding the last 4 which gives you the number only it's fiddled with be more drawn out and complicated.

    Maths iz awesems.
