    If you pull the stereo, there may be a black wire with an eyelet connector. It may be loose or disconnected. It needs to be screwed to a piece of bare metal, usually the stereo harness.

    That's the first thing I'd check

    Likely to be a wire that's not supposed to be grounded, ie antenna out, speaker wire etc?

    Safesounds are on Richmond Road in Drumcondra, D3. Could it be something popped internal in the radio rather than a wiring problem?
