Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some parts were the worst I have experienced getting tattooed but most of it was bearable
Still have lightning, clouds and the jolly rodger to fill in but we were both done at this stage!!
I also realise I way over indulged this Christmas...back running this week so!!

Finally got my first tattoo, only took me the best part of a decade to work up the b***s :pac:
Done by Damon Allen in Inkfingers, Galway. It's only a few hours old as ye can see in the pics. Mostly I just wanted it cos I like the design but it does have some meaning behind it, mostly relating to my mother. Who incidentally, is NOT going to be best pleased when she sees it :P oh well.
It's on my inner forearm, quite tricky to get pics of!0 -

Another bit done, slowly getting there. Still a lot more to do, lower back in the next sitting, highlights and more lighter grey shading for the one after and then there'll be a frame all around the outside to give the right perspective to it all maybe a cherry blossoms or something.
Hard to explain with words but it's getting nearer now.
Was still a bit raw in the pic so it's not the best but you can get the idea
I've a very long back to fill being 6'8" as well

8 months, 10 sessions and over 30 hours later, the sleeve is finally finished
Still a bit of redness/pinkness - the white near my wrist should pop more after another week or two. But I'm delighted with it. Popping back into Wildcat once it's fully healed so Kris can take better pictures, I'll throw them up then because selfies of your good arm are very hard to take! The last one is a dirty mirror reflection

Got my first the other day by a bamboo tattooist in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. Wanted one for years and read this and that was me sold. Same dude did mine. Took about 2.5 hours, fairly painless and not a drop of blood (I expected a bit!). Got it 3 days ago, not a bit of redness or anything. Couldn't be happier!

Another piece done on the sleeve. It's Regan from The Exorcist. I really like the way he did the eyes. I thought he did a great job. Another session to finish the sleeve he reckons and then we start the next one. Ideas flowing for that already...some great stuff happening.

Here are some,pics of my current piece, a leg wrap. 5 hours work on it so far, some pics make certain parts look odd but it's very hard to photograph your leg haha.
Hurt like a b*tch, got all the sweet spots done ... Foot, ankle bone, tendon, back of leg haha shin bone was a breeze, but found the fleshy spot behind the leg near the knee very tense altogether ha, was sweating so much! And still so much more to go :eek:
Let me know what you think, it'll be in full colour.
