Looking to terminate some keystones with cat6 , I would like to terminate them with keystones at one end with a wall plate and the other straight into the switch. Obviously this will require stranded cable

    Any downfall to this method?

Understanding that normally solid cable is run from wall posts to patch panel

cat 6 is by definition stranded (8 cores).
do you mean shielded cable by any chance ?

Nope stranded, each core is stranded vs solid

So they are not compatible with stranded?

I'm guessing through reading its not advisable nor proper practice, time to purchase a few lengths of solid then so

That seems to be a common thing.

People selling core cable state it cant be used as patch cable.. few more googles tells me you can get RJ45 ends for them and there are types suited for solid and types for stranded . I know that core cable is not meant to bend or has a low bend threshold. I was trying to get away with buying one cable but alas it seems I might be best in buying both

Could you recommend a supplier for a small amount of solid core? Plenty of options on the bay but couldn't trust them.
