Blue coating on reg plates

    ....whats that all about? I've seen it on quite a few cars, and im wondering what it is. Is it some brainwave to deflect speed cameras form taking a picture of the reg plate?

    Blue stuff is usually the protective film on the plate just after its been printed. Some may be leaving it on thinking it'll stop the cameras from working - it doesn't.

    I see it regularly on tipper trucks.

    May be some do not realise it has to be peeled off or else they think it looks cool :rolleyes: been Dublin fans. (LOL)
