Ya, I have joined the Irish league. Did it last year and was good fun.

Does anyone know if the WRC+ facility will be made available in Ireland on WRC website It has just been made available to UK based users but still not accessible from here.

Also, the welsh channel S4C have confirmed they will be showing highlights of the wrc again this year.

I done it last year myself, I was running in the top 10/15 for a long time but had a few bad rallies at the end and dropped to 31st.

Not too sure about WRC+ in Ireland, it would be nice though. I've BT Sport in myself for the WRC and MotoGP. I would like the extra features of WRC+ though.

    That's a very good result.

I was in the top 50 after the about 3 rounds but fell away back to almost 200 during the year. I had a good result on the last two rounds and just made it back into the top 100.

I don't have access to BT sport so would like WRC+ for live stages.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,046 ✭✭✭afatbollix

Yes on Motors TV each night

On BT sport each night and live stages

ITV 4 on the Tuesday after the rally.

Bought WRC + yesterday Got it for the live maps. Been looking at the in car stuff and its very good, Map tracking, live splits of who is leading the stage very good. I have a feeling we will see all live in car cameras soon.

Katjanowicz made pretty good use of them in Austria for the ERC round there. Anyone know if Kubica will be on similar tyres or WRC specific Pirellis?

Loeb just blitzed them all by 22 seconds..... wow

I'm a bit annoyed that there is no live maps tracking for the WRC2 and WRC3 competitors on WRC+.

He's done it again first stage out this morning. 15 seconds over 15km. Incroyable!

I'll put my hands up I really did not expect Loeb to be this quick.... WOW:eek::eek:

I know it's a "tarmac" rally but is the road order making much of a difference between the first guys on the road and Loeb? Would he have a bit more tarmac available after the snow/ice has broken up a bit?

Awesome start by Loeb but it looks like road positions are the main reason as Ogier back to within 3 seconds.

Kubica is fastest man out there now.

Quick question about the WRC plus app. Other than live timing etc, what do you actually get. Is there any live stages not found on BTSports etc.

Same live stages that are on BT, although if the stage runs late WRC+ will keep broadcasting but the TV channels may not.

There is lots of archive video on it too from daily highlights from previous rallies and special features

They have on board videos from some drivers for for previous stages, there is a cool feature that you can split the screen and compare two drivers.

    bit of info here https://plus.wrc.com/about/info/

Reading up on it this morning, I was totally sold on WRC+.

Went to sign up and it objected to the antique version of IE on my work PC. Looking forward to using it at home later on though.

Being with UPC; they block ITV4, don't have Motors and I have no intention of getting BT Sports in (and then paying a HD supplement). I was "acquiring" my daily highlights from "elsewhere" with varying degrees of success.

This is all the boxes ticked.

Back to the action; Meeke has settled into a nice groove now. I'd say the brief from Citroen is to have 2 on the podium and score some solid points.

Meeke with big problems in SS8
