Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

We are a five piece band who recently lost our drummer (well, he’s in Belgium but we can’t get him back), and so we are back in the drummer market. We play in a style that is roughly classified as alt rock and lazily compared with The National and so we would are looking for a drummer for whom both of those are a positive thing. We have recorded our first studio album and, once we have found a drummer with whom we feel we are well matched, we will be releasing it. The drumming style we are looking for has been expertly described as Radiohead meets The National by the four remaining non drummers in our band.

In the interest of transparency I’m going to try and describe our group dynamic without totally killing your interest. In our practice time you can expect lame jokes, mad puns, nerd talk (proper nerd talk, about Buffy and Firefly and Final Fantasy and Halo) and the occasional criminally offensive remarks about one another and people who are not us. At our gigs you can expect a chronic lack of drunkenness or smoking of any kind, with a healthy dose of social awkwardness in the face of discussions about competing micro-breweries and beard trimming paraphernalia.

If you still think we sound like people you would like to meet (or if you are truly desperate) please drop us a line (if by line you mean email) at evanheneghan[at]gmail[dot]com. Don’t worry, that’s not the band name. We’re already looking forward to meeting you,
    Yours Heavy-Breathingly,
    T.M.S

Not much of a firefly fan but could always go for a buffy marathon,
Please find links below to some examples of work in 4/4, 3/4, and 5/4.
If you fancy a jam and some awkward conversation around "which bands do you like/ why do people still play as Guile" drop me a line.

Sounds great dude, really like the style, and I think it would go really well with us. Do you have an email or contact details for me to get in touch?
