Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Purchasing leather in Dublin/Ireland

Can anyone recommend somewhere that I might buy a small piece of leather, preferably in Dublin but anywhere in Ireland or even elsewhere (with reasonable delivery costs) would be good.

I've looked at leprevo.co.uk, which is a great site, but with their minimum order size and delivery charges it would work out quite costly.

I'd like to try making a wallet, so I don't need a huge amount of material.

Are there any shoemakers or the like who might sell a small offcut?

Any advice on the grade or weight of leather or thread to get, or on how to make-do with regular tools, etc. would also be very much appreciated.

    Thanks.
