Cold breezy day here near Tralee with wintry showers bringing the total to 6.8mm, mostly cloudy.

A few big gusts in the showers, one at 10.42 getting up to 69 kph ( avg wind speed today 17.2 kph W )

After a high of 8.6C now down to 7.5C ( windchill 1.5C )

Well, spring got off to a good start here - we had several cm of snow after sleet turned white about 11am. Sunshine followed, but traces of the the snow linger where the afternoon sun didn't reach.

Hills are covered in white.

Partly cloudy, light breeze and 2.8C.

Big wintry showers here in Tralee today, heavy snow for a time but the sunshine had it melted in no time, 8.6mm of precip, impressive thunder and lightning as well. Sleety showers continue into the evening,

Blustery at times especially during the night when it got up to 66 kph
Avg wind speed 20.9 kph W
Temp only got up to 6.7C and back now to 3.3C ( wind chill -1.1C)

Occasional snow showers from midday, then one around 7pm that covered the ground after some strong March sunshine had cleared most of it.

Dry and clear since, strong wind, 1.5C now but snow is frozen. Max today 4.8C in the sunshine.

It got up to 11.9C here near Tralee in a steady breeze all day, patches of blue and great swathes of wave type cumulus parked over the mountains all day, in a Lenticular sort of way.

Wind got up to 41 .8 kph, avg of 16 kph SSW atm
Temp slow to ease back, now at 9.2C
0.4mm of overnight rain, dry during daylight hours.

The past 24 hours has been real snow-eater weather; only drifts left at the highest elevations now.

Min temp last night 6.7C and it got to 10.9C in light breeze, mainly cloudy just occasionally sun, very dry - 70% humidity most of day.

Very windy and fairly sunny, temp reached 13.7C but with increased cloud has fallen back to 11.6C.

Min last 7.7C - there has been an explosion of daffodils into flower the past 2 days.

Humidity down to 50% today - this is a dry wind!

Windy day but nothing exceptionable here near Tralee , 10 min avg 19.3 kph S, gust 48.3kph. Wouldn't expect anything much greater then these readings this evening for this location.
Good sunshine at times, clouded over completely now .Rain band showing up on the radar making its way on to the West coast.

Mild at 10.3C down from 12.1C ( low 9.2C giving a diurnal range of just 2.9C today )

It's stopped rising here at 16.6C - what a difference a couple of km up hill can make!

Hard to believe it was snowing here 4 days ago - and that the forecast for tomorrow puts the max at 9 degrees lower.

15.7 in Bray according to Trogdors station. His high was 16.2 at 10:30am. The Fohn effect from the Wicklow/Dublin mountains giving us both a boost I imagine but harbour versus a mile or two inland giving a 2/3ºC difference between us.

2 days ago I did my shift in layers topped of with a gillet with a superser on beside me. Today the staff are all working in their T-Shirts!!
