Well, its that time of the year again when I decide I want a new bike. My Kawasaki VN1600 classic has sat in my garage since August last year (because I was bored of it).

Since then I've being looking for a decent bike to replace it that I can use touring and tearing up motorways. Myself and the missus agreed on the Kawasaki ZZR-1400. So this week end I'm going to collect it and leave my VN1600 at the dealers.

I'll post pics very soon :D

Nice choice! Wonder how the missus likes sitting on the back.

I already know what the bike for 2010 is going to be.

We test-sat on it a couple of times and she liked it. The great thing about the ZZR is the low rear frame. So she won't be sitting in the air.

    Bastard!:D

    Thats a lovely bike.

I've been oogling the GTR1400 for some time now. She's pricey though.

    Good luck with her! ;)

Picked her up a couple of hours ago, savage machine and so easy to drive.

I was sh!tting it for the past few days but I can't get over how user friendly it is.

Here are some pics (taken with my phone), of the swap at the stealers. Note that the ZZR is the new bike and the cruiser (vn1600) is the old one.

More decent shots after the weekend.

I don't have the best luck with bikes angry.gif

I didn't pay much attention to the over all bike at the weekend, too busy riding it. Totalled up 700k's over the weekend.

Got home this evening and put the bike into the garage and immeadiatly noticed all the scratches on the screen , some quiet heavy. Then noticed the fine scratches around the paint on the front.

Then it dawned on me , the muppet from the shop brought the bike out to me and it was dusty, he sprayed some polish over it and wiped it off. It looks like he fcuked the paint up in the process. I'm bleeding livid at the moment.

The screen especially looks like its 3 years old. I'll be straight onto them in the morning.
