Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thanks for the reply. I have 4 good automatic watches. Three Tags and an Omega and would like to know peoples experiences of Automatic Winders? I am happy to spend up to 400

    there are loads of discussions on watch winders if you google it. Watch winders pretty much divide the camp, so check them out and ask yourself why do you need one.

    I have one, and the time keeping on the watches isn't good; presumably because the watches only rotate on one axis. So either way, I've to set the time when I put the watch back on, and I don't believe that the movement is going to seize up if it's left in a box for a while - so for me, it's not worth it.

    I have a longines one. It will alternate the direction it winds in if required. Some watches only wind when rotor goes in one direction, others both so you need to know which. Mine looks nice and takes 2 watches, but is quite noisy, which is the main reason I don't use it. Although on a completely unrelated note, I'm not allowed wear watch at work most days now, which is becoming a huge pain into the ass when I just want to pick up a watch and go.
