I have had my eye on this laptop for gaming for a while, opinions?

Does anyone think this would be good for laptop for gaming. I have never used a sony brand laptop before. For the past 6 years I have been using a lenovo, but that just doesn't have what I want.

The only adjustment I'm going to make is to add more RAM to get 8gb. I may also take on the cd drive and swap it with a solid state hardrive.

(I'm also going to use it for movies. It will be hooked up to my tv via HDMI for most of the time)

Looks expensive to me. Certainly not a gaming machine by any stretch of the imagination.

what kind of games? from a quick look I'm only seeing integrated graphics which is next to useless for proper games e.g. skyrim, bf3 etc

ebay seller looks shady as hell, like Alan says 2.4ghz dual core does not equal 4.8ghz. Oh, and it's an i5, so it hyperthreads, so if you want to be really technical it's a 4-way processor.

Its also using the Intel HD 2000 as a GPU. Laughable.

The 3 year warranty bull**** is just that. The shockproof jargon on the page only refers to the hard drive. Not the PC itself.

Avoid. Shop somewhere more reputable, and for gaming look for either something with a dedicated GPU, or, a 3rd gen i5 with an HD 4000 at minimum. I personally would say go for an AMD A8 or A10 as the IGPs on those are actually specced very well for gaming.
