Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I'm eager to leave Eircom.

When are your single billing product prices becoming available?

"The March deadline set by Minister for Communications Dermot Ahern for the introduction of wholesale line rental."

This is still under discussion with Comreg, eircom and the other operators. The published dates are always 'best endeavours’ We will always try and have competitive products that are good for the consumer but there is still a lot of discussion required as to whether this product will help the consumer due to support during faults.

Our Minister Dermot Ahern about the single billing delay in his Agenda interview:"That has been delayed, why? Because there has been a dispute between Eircom and the operators, and ComReg in the middle. ComReg will say that there's fault on Eircom's side, but also fault on the other operators. "

He forgot to mention the details, they are as follows:

Eircom's fault: offering a totally unacceptable package (OLOs have to pay Eircom if customers move to them; a price that makes it absolutely uneconomical for OLOs to operate the wholesale agreement; customers loose their telephone book entry and other niceties)

Fault of the other operators: not to accept Eircom's offer

    From Ahern's AGENDA_interview_transcript on comwreck.

    Peter
