Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What an awful game. We are very limited up front but when youhave a Centre back that can make a cross like that there is always a chance. Came out the right side for once this season. If the final is in cork it should be a good spectacle with the new stand at the cross ane a full house.

FAI said before tonights game it will be in either Turners Cross or the Brandywell depending on who the game.
What's the deal with that? Why is it not played at a neutral venue?

The only reason I can think of is, City played Drogs in Tolka in the 2006 final, where the place was 3/4 full at best. These same two teams played an FAI cup final a few months previous in front of 20000+ in Lansdowne.

I do not think the interest is there for a neutral venue, much like the league cup. At least when its a home tie for one team, it is an almost guaranteed full house, and both sides benfit from the gate in that regard.

EDIT: Final is confirmed for Turners Cross Nov 1st 7.30pm KO
