Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Drav-
Leitrim would keel over with fright if we landed in on top of them!! They scare easily :O
Seriously though, it could be done. On the offchance that ye'd be on for it I could look into somewhere like Carrick-on-Shannon, rent apts and make a weekend of it...

I'm with you on this one! Crazy town....we'd wreck the place :pac:

In the sake of fairness, are there many people from the west going to the beers? If it's mainly Dub-based people that's fair enough, but if a lot of us are from more westerly areas.....
    *ducks

I travelled up for a GC beers a few months back and had a blast!

If there's one held in Galway I can recommend some places.

Ill be in Galway from the 20th-22nd of this month.
Other than that I am completely against having a tGC beers in Galway, you heathens!

Heyyyy....I've toddled on up to Dublin at least 45 times at this stage (now fair enough only 2 of those 45 times were for Boards Beers, but still!)

    COPPERS!!!
    :pac:

    Sorry, I'll shut up now.
I havnae a clue, the decision is probably best left to ye Dub residents...
The only suggestion I'd make is to keep it as central as possible to make it easier on those who aren't familiar with the city.

    Coppers would be later on.
    :pac:

I hate Diceys,Capitol is always wedged and loud as fook too.

I reckon continue along the lines of the last few in that we start somewhere where a conversation can be heard, then move on somewhere noisy and crowded.

Hairy Lemon is a decent spot alright though the layout is very cluttered.

Galva bears a resemblance to James Van Der Beek aka Dawson from Dawsons Creek.

Ah the Hairy Lemon, what a Sunday. After losing my purse AND my phone at a boards beers the previous night, I still had a brilliant day!

As for venue, what about somewhere on Dawson St/ the porter house or Market Bar, all generally good for conversation and can move on after

How about a happy compromise and Galvasean just serenades us all in the chipper/kebab shop after?

Otis. That's my favourite chinese meal. I love it so much, now I'm bloody starving and it's all your fault too - ye're all mean

Here - had a conversation with a drunk friend earlier you might be able to solve for me- he asked me if there are any horror films that are based around firemen/stations/firemens poles...
I have no idea why were having this conversation, but we were watching Children of Men at the time so who knows what was going on in his head :D

Don't even know what a 3 in 1 is but it sounds lethal anyway.

I feel the need to educate you. It is chips, fried rice and curry sauce. Best consumed after a few beers when you can really appreciate it's awesomeness

You could go 4 in 1 if you're a real thrill seeker.

    Night Mrs D...
After beers you gotta sort me out with one of those 3-in-1 jobbies. Sounds bloody delish!

    Fraid not awec!
The 'speciality' around here is 'curry cheese coleslaw garlic' chips. Not a fan!
Best thing Ive ever had was the 'sauce' they put on chips in Scotland, it's vinegar mixed with brown sauce. Now that is bleedin' delish.
