I thought this might be interesting, put the name of your first pokemon game and the team you had against elite 4.

    Pokemon Diamond:

    Torterra (82)
    Staraptor (51)
    Luxray (44)
    Floatzel (46)
    Sneasal (42)
    Flareon (48)

The reason for torterra high level was cause after snowppint gym I didn't know wat to do and thought I has to have a level 80 plan to get to sunyshore!

    Pokemon Blue.

    Blastoise
    Garados
    Articuno
    Rhydon
I can remember the last two.

    Hyper beam on everything. EVERYTHING.

Blue. It was a long time ago on an emulator far far away - I only remember having blastoise, golem, alakazam and gyrados. Don't think I made it to the e4 on my cart when Colosseum came out.

    Pokémon Red.

Best I can recall, I had a team of Charizard, Hitmonlee, Nidoking, Tauros (so many wasted hours catching it), and possibly Raichu and Pidgeot in the last slots.

Red .... I would have been around 8 at the time so have a very hazy memory.

    charizard
    Electrode
    Gyrados
    Arbok
    pigeot
    Kadabra

Very vague, think I used an electrode I got in team rockets building!

These days I used to have the same team, however since the introduction of fairy types it's put a spanner in the works.
My usual team pre X/Y is

Charizard (he's handy for the fly hm) or arcaine
    Tyranatar
    Ampharos
    Lapras or milotic
    Espeon or gardevoir
    Hydreigon

    Current alpha sapphire team is

    Charizard with charizard X
    Heracross with heracrossite
    Wishcash
    Metagross with metagrossite
    Sylveon
    Absol with absolite

And yes I do have a thing for charizard! And lapras has to be a girl!

    Blue for me too.

    Charizard
    Pidgeotto
    Jolteon
    Snorlax
    Graveler
    Gyarados

Charizard was something like level 80 while everyone else was still in the 30's. Snorlax might have hit 40 but nobody else. I didn't quite grasp the raising a balanced team thing straight away :pac:

Mine was blue also, hard to remember my first team but it think it was

    Blastoise
    Flareon
    Tauros
    Articuno
    Pikachu
    Pidgeot

So yeah, standard kids gen 1 team :P

    Charizard
    Blastoise
    Venasaur
    Raichu
    Kadabra
    Pigeot

Pokemon blue, may have been slightly influenced by the tv show...

First game I made a proper go at was Yellow

    Had
    Blastoise
    Charizard
    Articuno
    Zapdos
Venasaur: swapped for Mewtwo when Caught
Pikachu: swapped for Mew, that I got from a Nintendo offical magazine event. Wish I knew about the Mew hack at Cerulean City at the time :rolleyes:

    Started a Blue game on my laptop a while back going to try only use a team that Ash had in tv series, not sure how long that will last but;
At Vermillion now, and only have a team of Wartortle, Butterfree Pikachu, Pidgeotto so far.

My first game was Pokemon Blue and my final team was:

    Electabuzz
    Jynx
    Dodrio
    Kingler
    Sandslash
    Dragonite

They are still some of my favorites from gen 1 except Dodrio, dunno what that was about or what happen to my Blastoise.

As far as I can remember my team in red was Charizard, Pidgeot, Dewgong, Golem, Pikachu/Raichu. I remember using Lapras, Scyther, Alakazam, Dragonite and some of the ghost pokemon too, but I can't remember my exact team.

My first proper Pokémon game was Black, up to then I had to rely on emulators. My Elite Four beaters from Black, and their names, were:

    Emboar (Boris)
    Zebstrika (Jebediah)
    Excadrill (Russell)
    Scolipede (Gladys)
    Swanna (Svetlana)
    Vanilluxe (M'Lady)

If I had to do it all over again I'd prob replace four of them; I'd keep Excadrill and Scolipede though 'cause they were boss! :D

From the emulator days my favourite team was definitely the one I had in Crystal, sadly I didn't think to give my Pokémon names back then:

    Typhlosion
    Umbreon
    Victreebel
    Hypno
    Miltank
    Gyarados

What if I told you I still have my Pokemon Red copy.

What if I told you the save from all those years ago is still there.

It's in Longford so I'll hop out my old GB and game and see what's in the hall of fame.

If your hall of fame data is still intact you've been playing pokemon Red wrong. :pac:

    Blue

    Blastoise
    Golem
    Allakzham
    Machamp

    Victreebell

Well I found my GB and Pokemon Red (still with box!) up in the attic. Gave them a bit of a blow and low and behold my save is still there! Sound is completely fecked on the Gameboy though.

    My winning 6 were apparently:
    Butterfree
    Hitmonchan
    Charizard
    Snorlax
    Pidgeot
    Alakazam

I also found the link cable so if anyone wants to trade :P

    Pokemon Blue:

    Venusaur
    Golem
    Dugtrio
    Gyarados
    Alakazam
    Raichu

I thought I was the bees knees with that team. Gary never stood a chance!
I loved Dugtrio. Flying out of the blocks with Dig, watching your opponent miss with their attack.
Golem was a defensive rock. The other 4 used more offensively.

    Pokemon Red:

    Charizard
Raichu (fat ugly fcker in this game)
    Lapras
    Vileplume
Haunter (Psychic, Night Shade, Hyponsis, Dream Eater)
    Hitmonlee

Honourable mentions to Diglett for beating Surge, Jolteon for beating Alakazams with Pin Missiles and Mankey who got me past Brock

    Pokemon Red

    Charizard
    Venusaur
    Blastoise
    Pidgeot
    Drowzee
    Articuno

Drowzee saved the day, it was level 26 and I sent it out against Gary's Blastoise for a shot at reviving Charizard. Yes I revived Charizard because it was my actual starter.
