Quite the opposite request as usually asked, but is there anything I can help to increase baldness?

I have a receding hairline that goes from the front to the top of my head, but not the sides.

I've been shaving for a long time now. Almost 8 years.

It doesn't seem to be receding any more than it has.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?
I just want a soft bald head without dealing with stubble, razor burn, buying razors, trying different tips and tricks etc.

    Any thoughts?

Expose yourself to high levels of radiation or try chemotherapy... Please...

Never heard of anyone wanting to speed up balding. Some drugs caused increased balding but that is a potential side effect of their use. Possibly could be ethical issues for a doctor prescribed drugs for purposes other than their indicated purposes.

Well you could get laser hair removal if your hair isn't blonde.

    Okay, serious face on now...

I can't imagine for one second any reputable laser company are going to take that request...

But, then again, I could be wrong (it has been known to happen... once, I think)

I know the highly TV advertised company beginning with the letter "T" have recently moved into the area of doing women's unseemly hairlines (how dare we have unattractive foreheads)

OP, maybe make enquiries - but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you; if it's not on the list of services the likelihood is it's not going to be available... and let me further say - "Ouch!"
Plus, the way hair falls out after laser will leave with really funny looking patches... and as previous poster mentioned dark hair takes laser well; red and blonde..err... not so much...

I suppose, If you are really desperate you could also try finding a willing electrologist - "Double Ouch!!" - and that's before you consider the cost of hours and hours of hot needle torture... again - "Ouch!"

But maybe you like pain... in that case enjoy...

i believe that many laser removal specialists would be willing to perform such a procedure, its not that whacky or crazy.. dude just wants to spend less time each day maintaining a bald head.

Waxing might help. Hair does not grow back as quickly as it does with shaving and it might make the new growth less coarse.

I don't know if it's ideal for a head, but on women, waxing removes hair further down the shaft so it takes longer for it to grow back and become noticeable. Supposedly those that regularly wax their legs can attain permanent hair removal over a long period of time. Waxing weakens the hair shaft, so it may assist in stopping growth, eventually.
