Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just got hit with a significant bill for tethering after moving to a new phone. Whatever version of Android was on the last phone did not change the APN.

Anyway, are there any Apps I can use to tether that wont change the APN on a non rooted phone?

Did you move supplier as well? For example, Vodaphone may charge extra for tethering while Meteor/eMobile do not. Tethering is built into to Android since Gingerbread 2.3 so apps or rooting not normally necessary.

No, still with same network O2. I moved from the S3 to the S4 which is running Android 4.2.2. Based on the research I have done so far it looks like Android made a change in the 4.2.2 version to change the APN when you tether so the mobile network knows about it.
