Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know how I can configure my region-2 dvd player so that it will play region-1 dvds? And is it expensive to do?

You may not need to chip it. Lots of them have multiregion capabilities built-in in a hidden setting... Just 'hack' it.

    Worked for me.

Thanks for the link, Bard! That may come in useful.

Even though you can make some DVD players multiregion, what about R1 discs with RCE (region coding enhancement) added? Do any stand-alone dvd players have probs with this? I only use my PS2 for DVD playback with DVD RegionX for R1+RCE discs! But I would like to get a standalone dvd player as these cope with VideoCD and MP3 also..
