Either you have tried 5 dozen of them or you dont know just how many films u can download off kazaa weeks before release :)

Im gonna wait to extra few weeks and pay that £4 ticket to watch it on the big screen compared to your 17" moniter (or bigger if yer lucky, still small tho). £4 isnt much and a week or 2 isnt a long wait. What date is it out by the way? I heard it was the 10th, not sure though.

Get AVI Prievew from http://www.am-soft.ru/ and you can see what you're in the process of downloading. There are probably some pre-release copies out there, but they'll be buried amongst the false files.

I think its out on general release on the 18th, but there may be a preview on the friday before. Not 100% sure.

No , trust me its not available , no release groups have done a copy of this movie yet. You will beed to wait for the pre-release showings to start before a rip of this movie appears.

I am pretty sure he's downloading a deliberately mislabeled 700mb file. Some guys at work's been told weeks ago the movie is out and started downloading it using kazaa and winmx even though I kept on telling them it's not out yet. There're always tons of people falling for this prank.

What would posess someone to watch a movie of LOTR's standard in visual and cinematic effects on a PC before seeing it on the big screen.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,508 ✭✭✭johnnynolegs

exactly jonno i have no idea at all why someone would do this it sounds a bit stupid to me

Tv-out? Pipe it to your metre-wide flatscreen goggle box (only 4 grand from Aldi), and surroudn sound speakers. :) At least you wouldn't have to contend with scangers throwing popcorn and shouting for the entire 2.5 hours.

I will see this movie at least 3 times at the cinema before i go near dodgy copies... but eh on topic.. there are no releases... But there are the usual pranks.. like the sites that offer all 3 films but when you click them all you get is a link to some porn site!

The one i downloaded was 2.2gig in total, massive download but mega high quality, comparable to the DVD (which i have also watched on my comp) if ye ask me.

You should all wait til it comes out in the cinema, so it mite cost a little to go and see it but there's nothing like the big screen, the atmosphere and all.
I saw the 1st one in the Savoy and going to go there again to see the 2nd one.
    Can't wait.
