    the only film i can think of with an ending like that is Se7en

    and phew grimes thanks for clarifying that for me there i thought i had missed a vital part of the film or something...........

    Yeah, I was thinking Seven too.
    Re. Monster's Ball, I thought it was a pretty brutal movie really, it just didn't seem to go anywhere at all.

    Terrible, terrible film.
    So boring. I just didnt enjoy it at all. Well except for when Halle Berry got nekkid. :)

    huh. I thought it was really good actually. Very powerful film.

    Billy-Bob is the quintesential (sp?) redneck; and the more said about Hairy Belly the better... I can't get enough of that chick at the moment (
    and billybob fairly rides the sh!t out of her too!
    ).

    Seriously though, a well deserved oscar for her and a great film IMHO.

    Well, maybe the film just caught me in the right frame of mind or something, but I thought she played the part perfectly..

    ...and actually, I was thinking she should have been a bit more tearful at one point,
    Just after her son died, herself and BillyBob sitting on the couch... she seemed a tad at ease to me. Then she broke down in tears and the scene made sense.

    ...I thought she pulled that off perfectly.

    And if you truly believe all that happened was crying and shagging, then I guess you just didn't 'get it'.

    Oh I got it alright.
    I just dont think she deserved an oscar for her performance in the film.

    I thought it was pretty good for what it was. It really reminded me of another Billy Bob film called Slingblade.

    The sex scenes were a bit unnecessary though. They went on for ages. It started getting monotonous. :)

    P Diddy was suprisingly good in this. An excellent performance for a rapper.
