Well the OP had got the day wrong, so it would be nice to have the time confirmed.

I've found a link that says it is indeed on at 9:30 this evening.

    Limerick City

To celebrate and to welcome the European City of Sport to Limerick, and to welcome all our visitors, the City will be putting on a fireworks display which will light up the skies over the majestic Treaty City following the International Rules on Saturday evening.
King John’s Castle provides the stunning backdrop to this breathtaking display where dazzling colours and explosive effects will be unleashed over the magnificent River Shannon.

Went Past the Castle earlier and Just a few small ones down near the water.
And none to be seen along the Walls So unless there are lots inside the walls or
hidden elsewhere it might not be that big a show.
Guess We will find out later!
    :D

Just wish they waited a bit longer between the salvos for the smoke to clear!

Here's a few of mine, between the smoke and the bright moon it was difficult to get clear fireworks.
