I really need a small loan of €200 to cover rent this month. I have already asked family but things are hard on everyone at the moment. Is there any companies or banks that would do such a small loan? I know the credit union would but I am not a member of the local one just yet. I am not working but have a full time internship which is jobseekers rate + 50 euro.

Is there no one else, close friends that can help or ask the land lord to defer the €200 untill next month (Its worth a shot).

Take my advice and DO NOT take out a Pay Day loan, they have insane APR rates and you could end up on a slippery slope with them.

I really have no one to turn too at the moment. I know how payday loans are, I got one before from Provident Personal Credit and even though nothing went wrong, I was paying interest for a few months after I had the amount borrowed paid. I borrowed €500, paying €15 a week for a total of 52 weeks worked out at €780

I may have to return to them though.. or face my dick of a landlord with a chuck of my rent missing.. €200, pay back €10 a week for 26 weeks is €260.

Nice profit on their money there, those two loans from a Credit Union would cost the following:

    €200 @ €10 p/w=Total paid back is €204.06.
    €500 @ €15 p/w=Total paid back is €517.01.

Whatever you do to solve your current problem, when its done, go down and open a Credit Union account.

Completely agree, Once this is sorted out.

Go down to the credit union and open an account.

I feel for you dude :( , Money is tight for every one these days

The upside to all this is that it is only '€200' not the €500 you've needed before.

Thanks guys for the replies. I know I really have to sort out a credit union account. And will do once this issue is addressed.
I applied for the €200 just there and hopefully I'll get a call before the end of the week.
